SUMMARY:
SEEKING A MARKETING CANDIDATE (BRAND MANAGER, PRODUCT MANAGER, SALES MANAGER) TO WORK ON THE WAL-MART TEAM. Achieve company consumption (POS) goals for assigned customers by developing and executing (shopper-focused) customer marketing programs in concert with account business plans and ReDAMPPS objectives.
Accountabilities:
Strategy Development develop and execute annual account marketing plans.
Project Management and Execution.
Customer Interaction develop detailed knowledge of the account's marketing (and merchandising) organization and decision making processes.
Agency Interaction (internal and external) manage all relationships and interactions (financial and information) between the customer team and external marketing agencies (TM or Zippatoni) or internal departments (retail presence, brand, packaging).
Budget Management.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree, Masters preferred
2-4 years brand marketing, product management, or marketing agency experience

PRODUCT MANAGER FOR A TOY COMPANY.
SUMMARY:
Plans, organizes, and controls assigned product lines from conceptual stages through product life cycles to optimize profit and meet marketing, financial, and corporate growth objectives by performing the following duties.
Salary range: $70,000 to $95,000 plus 40% bonus.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for integrated marketing plan for product brands (including: carry forward product, new product, packaging, promotion, and advertising) to maximize sell-in and sell-through.
Maintains target margin requirements across line. Produces products at appropriate market prices and assists in aspects of product development to meet those costs. (P&L responsibility)
Responsible for updating/verifying Toy Line Projection. May be responsible for maintaining brand TLP.
Responsible for initial forecasting of products by gathering necessary information from sales managers or
representatives.
Conducts research on all emerging and refined products, including but not limited to: competitive analysis, store checks, focus group research, and play testing.
Details product development objectives and provides approvals at all phases of product development process. Defines line and product requirements for design to encourage a more efficient development process.
Develops sales plans and targets for brands. Assists sales in planning merchandising and promotional plans at the retail level. Prepares sales aides and information to enhance sales' presentations.
Works cross-functionally by interfacing with sales, development, graphics, finance, and production to develop proper products and brands which meet or exceed company goals and are responsive to market opportunities and demands, in addition to customer and consumer needs and wants.
Responsible for providing direction on and approving final packaging for products, including: writing copy, planning photo shoots and layout with graphics, and approving instruction sheets.
Responsible for catalogue copy for all products within responsible brands. Also responsible for approving and supplying photo hero whether sample or in-line to graphics.
Works with public relations agencies and, in some cases, with editors to promote products and brands.
Directly supervises one employee in the Marketing Department.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Four-year college or university program degree in Business Marketing, or related field; plus three to five years related product management experience, within toy industry, strongly preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
